Whole Home Renovation
Natural and Bright Kitchen + 3 Redesigned Bathrooms
Open Concept Floorplan Perfect for Entertaining
Starting with the home’s exterior we created a more formal entry by adding a deck with a wide landing. The perfect spot for a morning coffee. A new solid mahogany front door with leaded glass was added for period-appropriate detail. The front of the house kept the decorative half-timbering but was painted to match the rest of the exterior trim.
Inside the rooms were small and separated, not ideal for entertaining and spending time with friends and family. Gracefull LLC’s in-house Architect and Design Team created a new floor plan that was more appropriate for the family’s lifestyle. The new floor plan flipped the kitchen and the dining room. It also opened up the dining room by removing a wall between it and the living room. The newly enlarged space meant that there was room for a big beautiful island in the kitchen.
The upstairs got a complete update too. It originally had 3 bedrooms and one bathroom on the second floor, but by today’s standards, a home of this size was missing a master suite. We moved some of the rooms around and ended with a final design showing us 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs. A successful whole home renovation indeed!
