When our team at RB Design & Build first met with the homeowners, their vision was clear: they desired an indoor living space that seamlessly merged with the beauty of the outdoors. In St. Louis, where weather can be unpredictable, they wanted a space that could adapt to every season. This project would become an incredible journey of turning their dreams into reality.

The Vision: A Year-Round Living Space

Our first challenge was to design a space that was functional and beautiful year-round. The homeowners wanted a room that could be comfortably heated in the chilly winter months and cooled during the sweltering St. Louis summers. Additionally, they wanted to bask in the glory of the outdoors without stepping out.

The deck addition featured a gas firepit, perfect for enjoying cool evenings under the St. Louis sky. A dedicated gas line ensured that fireside gatherings were always an option, whether for cozy nights with family or entertaining guests.
